Pre Move Checklist
Some quick tips
Defrost all fridges/freezers
Disconnect Washing Machine
Ensure all appliances are correctly prepared for transport
Removed fixtures and fittings from walls
Returned any books / DVDs etc
Beds and flat pack items disassembled
Trampoline / swing sets and kids toys disassembled
Fuel drained from Mowers, whipper snipper's etc
Disposed of Dangerous goods not suitable for packing, transport or storage.
Removed any personal items, passports, wallets, clothes and bags etc to a separate room on removal day so as not to be pre packed or loaded onto the Furniture Van.
Gas bottles will not be transported by most carriers, your gas bottles can be taken to your local service station for the Nationwide Swap and Go System, you will be given a receipt for any bottles surrendered which can be redeemed at your local service station on arrival at your destination.
